These two sides will have to do it all over again on Tuesday after a poor game which was only memorable for two very good goals.
The league game here in August ended all square and this result was no surprise at all.
Bromley started brightly with Danny Waldren going close before Elliott Buchanan put The Ravens in front on 9 minutes with a fantastic long range strike.
Pierre Joseph-Dubois missed a good chance to add to the lead soon after when heading wide, while Staines went close when Matt Drage had a header saved by Joe Welch.
The game then drifted with the away team’s offside trap foiling any chance of entertainment.
The second half saw Staines start well with Welch saving well from Louie Theophanous. The home side then had a good spell with Ali Fuseini firing wide and they should have had a penalty when Tony Finn was floored in the box but Mr Hyde waved it away.
The Swans equalised on 71 minutes when Louise Rae Beadle hit a fierce drive from outside the box past Welch for 1-1.
The game then opened up with Dubois, Michael Malcolm and Liam Harwood going close for Bromley, but they lacked the vital touch and will have to do it all again.
